OUTPUT MODE One of the following 6 output modes can be selected.

Output times can in either case be one shot or hold (1st level output in 2 level preset model is either Hold1 or Hold2).

Output occurs only when and continues as long as the current count value is equal to the preset value.

Lower limit comparator output. Comparator outputs are the most suitable for positioning application.1 level preset output is lower limit comparator output.Upper limit comparator output. Comparator outputs are the most suitable for positioning application.1 level preset output is lower limit comparator output.

Upper - Lower limit comparator output. Comparator outputs are the most suitable for positioning application.In 2 level preset model, the 1st preset value is lower comparator out, while 2nd preset value is upper comparator out.Upper 1 - Upper 2 limit comparator output. In 2 level preset model, the 1st and 2nd preset values are upper limit comparator outputs.

The G48 has 2 operation modes. While initial setting such as selection of input and count methodsis done in the Program Mode, usual counting and presetting are done in the Run Mode.Use the key to enter the Program Mode and the key to return to the Run Mode.

Output time In case of standard output, preset can either be one shot (pulsed) or latched (hold, hold 1, hold 2).Latched outputs can be programmed as follows:

Latched until a reset signal is sent.

Latched until output 2 goes away.

Latched until a reset signal is sent;independent from output 2.

Setting range in 10ms steps is possible.

1 level preset output (OUT), 2nd level preset output (OUT2) of 2 level model,preset output (OUT) of 1 level preset+prewarn model.

1st level preset output (OUT1) of 2 preset level model,prewarn output (PW) of 1 level preset + prewarn model.

Prescale Incoming pulses can be prescaled to display the desired measuring unit.The prescale can be set at any value within the range of 0.001 ~ 99.999Ex.) To display 1 count per 10 pulses, PS value = 0.1.

Decimal Point Position Decimal point position can be selected out of the following settings: no decimal point, 0.0, 0.00, 0.000

Free Writing Any desired value can be written on the display. The counter will add to or subtract from the written value.When resetting is made, count value will be replaced with the written value.

Reset Time Reset time sets minimum pulse time of remote reset signal.Reset time can be set to either 2ms or 20ms.

Key Protect There are 4 protection levels.
