TOOLS TO GO MOBILE
EXAMPLES OF BAD MOBILE SITES
Nokia, a mobile phone retailer, does not have a mobile site.
The links on the site are unreadable on any smartphone making content
navigation impossible. Since most web browsing is done on mobile devices
this is a huge mistake for Nokia .
They also offer an unreadable usability survey for user feedback leaving
one to assume they are not concerned at all about their user experience.
A poor design such as this was not created with the consumer in mind.
Jeep did not create a separate mobile version of their site, they simply used their
desktop site.
They failed to resize their images and text leaving only part of the photos and
words to be seen on a small screen.
The mobile site does not offer any features of most car dealer sites such as color
swaps and 360 degree angles of the vehicles.
The content merely a long, heavy text description with the ability to check local
offers and inventory.
