The practitioners Lindsay Ashworth Lindsay Ashworth is a Marketing and Communications specialist within the Practice. She specializes in telling engaging stories through writing, graphic design, and digital media. With an education in journalism, public relations, and psychology and experience in sales, account management, marketing, and communications, she brings a vibrant voice to the Practice. “I am constantly inspired by the people I work with – their talent, their passion, and their enthusiasm for what they do for clients. It’s contagious.” Jenna Bell Jenna Bell is a Communications Specialist with the Practice, specializing in support of the Client Advisory Boards and working with the company's top strategic clients both regionally and across the globe. With a background in Communication Science and a passion for solving problems, Jenna enjoys understanding the "question behind the question" in order to tell a better story. “Working the way we do at ENVISION, it's like being a reporter or anthropologist or therapist—we've been given access to intimate parts of a client's journey and strategy, which is a great privilege, and that moment of vulnerability is what enables a paradigm shift in the room toward a collaborative and creative change.” Paul Combs Paul Combs is an illustrator within the practice. He is a fine-art and photography graduate with an extensive background in editorial illustration and political cartooning. Paul has over 30-years of experience as a freelance illustrator where he brings his ability to artistically render the client's needs and vision into a cohesive visual strategy. He has worked with global industry to create comprehensive employee safety campaigns and has been published in magazines, newspapers, and books. What gets me excited is when the magic of illustration elicits meaningful conversations – that's the power of the drawn line! To take words and transform them into a visual journey of inspiration.”

Biographies

Kory Hubbell Kory Hubbell is an illustrator within the Practice. He exhibits a unique blend of exceptional interpersonal skills and innate artistic ability, specifically in illustration, which makes him a perfect fit for this role. Kory’s love of storytelling through art started at a young age, continued with four years at a top art college, and continues today with further education and study. His work has been featured in print, and on store shelves across the country.

“There’s something so beautiful about the act of creating, especially as it relates to creating art from abstract idea and thought. When people talk, I see pictures, and I love having a job that allows me to use that ability to help our clients achieve more.”

Madeline Martyn Madeline Martyn is an analyst with the Practice. Her strengths include giving a voice to individuals and groups through authentic narrative. Madeline brings a wealth of knowledge from her background as a management consultant who specialized in change management and qualitative academic research. She has considerable cross-sector knowledge and experience from her work in three UK Universities.

“I really like that we take time with clients and colleagues to have the business conversations that matter – and that have positive impacts.”

Ed Mattingly Ed Mattingly is a facilitator and analyst within the Practice. He has significant experience in aligning business transformations with IT strategies so as to maximize business outcomes. Ed has a career in the technology sector and has held global leadership positions in strategic business development, corporate venturing, IT service management practice development, global operations, and complex solution sales.

“My passion is leading teams in their quest for a clear and compelling vision that they not only believe in, but also can articulate in a way that gets others to support their journey. It’s very rewarding to see how we accelerate our clients change agenda in a way that feels good to them.”

Scott McClanahan Scott McClanahan is an illustrator within the Practice. Scott spent 15 years using his commercial art degree in the agency world, before becoming a full-time freelance illustrator. Most of his freelance years were spent in the field of education, where he excelled at breaking down complex concepts into easy to understand illustrations. His portfolio includes curricula, explainer videos, and children’s books.

“I’m always excited about helping others to both understand and find passion in ideas and visions through illustrations. Art can bridge the gap between age, socioeconomic, and language barriers, and unite us in a way that no other media can. As a bonus, it’s a lot of fun!”

Barbra McGann

Barbra McGann is an analyst within the Practice. Over the course of her career, Barbra has worked with business leaders as a sounding board and advisor for strategies and messaging, providing candid feedback and helping them explore alternative options. She’s known for working with complex datasets and people to find patterns and insights and determine the most effective and impactful way of communicating and actioning them.

“I discovered ENVISION while working as an industry analyst studying the integration of design thinking principles, frameworks, and tools into business operations transformation… and I am excited to now be a part of this unique approach to strategic planning – the use of focus questions, visual-based storylines, and action plans that weave together strategy, cultural change, and communication.”

Debbie Murphy Debbie is an Analyst with the practice. She enjoys customer interaction/interviews/discussions, discovering actionable insights, and teamwork. She strives to build relationships of trust, by going deep enough to build a rapport and add value, using creative thinking and injecting humor. Debbie is an engineer with an MBA, having worked in technology with both hardware and software. Her experience includes: Customer Insights, Program Management, Product Management/Development, and Sales/Business Development.

“It excites me to see the client move forward in setting up their organization to be prepared for the changing/dynamic digital environment of today. The Envision sessions are creative, innovative and a lot of fun, but not without great preparation. I thrive on the time we spend with the client beforehand that allows them to be open and ready to think in new ways.”

Marieke Pot Marieke Pot is an analyst within the ENVISION Practice. Marieke is of Dutch nationality, holds a master‘s degree, and speaks five languages. A ballet dancer at heART, who has worked in strategic and operational management roles at multinationals in EMEA and in the USA. Marieke liases and connects with people at all levels of an organization by developing and leveraging trust, compassion and confidence....and with compassion she means that personal quality that machines can never possess; the human ability to reach out and put yourself in someone else’s shoes, so you can get to another level of understanding.

"Being an analyst within the ENVISION Team, is like a theatre director role. You prep, you collaborate, and you practice, and the more development that goes into the visual story and the dancers, the better the production. This means that if you do it right, you not only help the clients turn their challenges into opportunities on the day of the Summit, but you ultimately create strong and long lasting relationships based on understanding and trust, which is paramount in all engagements.”

JC Quintana JC Quintana is a facilitator and analyst within the Practice. He has served as an executive leader for several Global Fortune 500 companies over the past 20 years, always with a focus on building stronger customer and employee relationships. He is the author of two books on technology alignment and business relationship psychology. JC’s experience designing and launching cross-regional and multi-cultural technology and business initiatives give him a unique perspective he shares through the envisioning process. He received his Master in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University where he is also pursuing a PhD. JC is an adjunct professor of Customer Experience & Design at Rutgers University.

Melinda Roehrig Melinda Roehrig is a Marketing and Communications specialist within the Practice. She brings years of marketing and communications experience to the Practice and specializes in business communications. She has worked with organizations ranging from Global Fortune 500 companies, to small family businesses. Melinda brings her experience in organizing and empowering clients to plan, communicate ideas, and shape messaging that presents a clear direction. Melinda enables the Practice to deliver world-class client experience for all engagements.

Dan Rustin Dan Rustin is a facilitator and analyst within the Practice. He has worked in many leadership roles and led numerous multi-national teams in the design and execution of holistic business transformations across all industry sectors. He enables client transformational strategies by providing ongoing strategic and management consulting guidance and support. Dan started his career in business administration and accounting and he brings years of experience in IT and business consulting to ENVISION. He received his BBA in Accounting from The University of Iowa and his MBA from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Biographies

Stefan Schaefer Stefan Schaefer is an illustrator, analyst and facilitator within the Practice. He believes that a clearly articulated strategy creates commitment at the executive level, and that appropriate governance is a key lever for successful business transformation. Stefan’s education included a PhD in information systems and he possesses strong analytical skills, deep business, process and IT understanding, as well as nuanced strategic outlook and somehow tops all of this by also being able to illustrate live.

“It is amazing how much teams can achieve when they take the time to align on their strategic business goals, take a frank look at their current reality and jointly map out an action plan. It is all about co-design, alignment and taking ownership for your own destiny. Simple and powerful enablers are structure, collaboration and visualization!”

Melissa Walden Melissa Walden leads the ENVISION Global Practice. She is well known as one of the most effective sources of help for developing and communicating strategic concepts. Her passion is capturing the essence of what is being said with compelling visuals that add insight. Melissa has extensive experience working with some of the most senior leaders in formulating new concepts in IT and business. Melissa brings leadership experience to the Practice that includes her CEO role of a consulting business where she focused on executive and interactive consulting with Fortune 500 companies.

“My favorite thing is when you can see that little light bulb go off with the audience and they SEE what everyone is talking about. It doesn’t matter the topic; in a good Summit an alignment is created – often around a visual – and the team continues to go back to it, points to it, and explains it to each other.”

Kimberly Walter Kimberly Walter is an analyst within the Practice. She is a strategic systems thinker with the ability to identify the business impacts of IT services on an organization’s direction and incredibly clever in identifying potential disparities in a strategy. She has an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems and an Executive Masters of Business Administration. She combines her education with years’ of experience designing digital strategies and solutions with many of DXC’s largest clients.
