Some steps to creating Quick Parts:

1. Select the Insert tab on the top toolbar.

2. Move to the right until you find the Quick Parts tab.

3. Select the text you want to copy, then go to Save Selection to Quick Part Gallery

MS Word Quick Parts4. Choose a name for your Quick Part. This is what you will type every time you want to call up the automated message, so be sure to use something you’ll remember.

MS Word Quick Parts5. To access your text once it is created, type its title and hit F3, or go into Quick Parts to view your existing text. Below is an example of a few of our existing Quick Parts.

1. Customize your Quick Access Toolbar to add AutoCorrect to your main tools.

1a. Select the arrow on the very top toolbar and select More Commands.

MS Word AutoCorrect1b. From the options that pop up, be sure to select Quick Access Toolbar on the far left.

1c. For the first column of selections, it reads “Choose commands from.” Select Popular Commands.

1d. You should see AutoCorrect Options in the left column. Select this and click Add between the columns so that the AutoCorrect Options appear on the right-hand column listing. Then click OK.

MS Word Autocorrect

2. Click the lightning-bolt-looking icon on your top toolbar.

3. Determine your code or phrase. This should go in the Replace text box.

IMPORTANT: Be sure that this is not something you type frequently!

4. Type out the full text you want the code to bring out. This goes in the With text box.

5. Click Add to save it to your Autocorrect list.

• It’s free• It’s easy to download and use• It allows you to save or share files• It allows screen-capture as well as video-capture

options with audio• We can highlight parts of the screen-capture to point

out areas of importance• We can track the number of views the image or video

receives
