Lindinger Inspection Engineers, Inc. gave a lot of thought over the years

to its processes and how to maximize quality and efficiency. We

understood that and we establishing from a set of procedures, with a

recognized Quality Management System would be the best way to

continually improve our system and provide a method by which checks

and balances could be more successfully monitored. In 2005 Lindinger

Inspection Engineers, Inc was awarded its ISO 9001:2008 accreditation

through ANAB. Since then we have successfully maintained our QMS in

accordance with ISO and have had no major findings during our annual

ISO audits.

Our QMS has allowed us to establish specific, easy-to-follow procedures for the day to day operations of a

successful Third Party Inspection Agency. Along with addressing the fundamentals of a certified ISO QMS, our

procedures detail a wide variety of activities such as Order Review and Processing, Monitoring and Continued

Education of Inspection Personnel, Personnel Interviews, and Requirements of Field Inspection Personnel.

INSPECTION COVERAGE AREAS:

In order to help eliminate high inspection travel costs, the Lindinger Inspection Companies have global

inspection representation in most of the active areas in the industry. Periodically, extended travel, which will

always be pre-approved through the Client, is necessary in order to ensure the highest quality of inspection

coverage. Should travel outside a local coverage area be required, all attempts will be made to keep the costs to

a minimum.




CONTINUED EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

In an effort to help promote continued education and to help stimulate the increase of qualified young inspectors

into the workforce, Lindinger Inspection Companies has joined the APIP Texas Training Consortium

(ATTC). Through a $3 million grant provide by the Texas Workforce Commission, the ATTC offers fully

funded training courses to its Consortium members. A brief list of Courses provided include: Certified Welding

Inspector (CWI), Visual Testing Level I & II, Ultrasonic Testing Level I & II, Magnetic Particle Level I & II,

Ultrasonic Testing Level I & II, Radiography I & II, Basic Metallurgy, API 510 & 653 Inspector, Positive

Materials Identification, Basic Windows Courses, Technical Writing, and Essentials of Leadership.

In addition to joining the ATTC, Lindinger Inspection Companies have recently developed screening

questionnaires for new applicants in order to verify general proficiency for specific commodities such as NDT,

Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Valves, Pipe and Fittings, Rotating Equipment, and Instrumentation &

Electrical, various other fields such as minerals, Consumer goods, Agricultural products etc. These

questionnaires are used in conjunction with in-person and/or telephonic interviews as a means of assuring the

qualification levels of inspectors so that only qualified individuals are utilized for Client inspection assignments.

Lindinger understands the problems associated with “warm body” inspectors as it not only compromises the

integrity of the Inspector and the Inspection Agency but more importantly it compromises the integrity of the

equipment being manufactured and tested. This screening process not only provides high probability that

unqualified inspectors are not utilized for inspection assignments but also identifies areas where qualified

inspectors may need additional training (especially when inspectors are trying to incorporate additional

commodities to their repertoire). Through Continued Education and Training, Lindinger Inspection Companies

are doing its part to maintain and preserve quality inspectors for years to come.
