The circular access doors with the safe and safe click con-nection is a part of this system certification program.
Lindab products that are Eurovent certified have the Eurovent logotype in the footer of the technical documenta-tion.
Note: Most Lindab Safe and Lindab Safe Click and the mostcommonly used product in a ventilation system are essen-tially better than class D, however some products are according to EN 15727 not class D as a single product. These products are stated in the documentation as Class C and can be used in D class systems to a limited extension.

Some dimensions Ø80–355 have notches for bayonet lock-ing, in order to be better fixed in ducts with positive pres-sure. You must then add two rivets to the fitting.
Dimensions Ø400–630 have eccentric locks in order to be better fixed in ducts with positive pressure. You must then mount the hooks of the locks in the fitting.

The door is held in place by a tension strap with adjustable eccentric lock. This offers a quick and simple opening and closing. A built-in handle also aids handling.

KCU is tested with the whole Lindab smoke evacuation sys-tem according to EN 1366-9.
Ø100–315The door in is held in place by spring clips against the inside of the Safe fitting. The door is loosened by pulling it while turning it slightly, and is installed in the opposite manner. There are one or two handles to help in the process.
Ø400–630The door is held in place by two eccentric locks and is loos-ened by unlocking the eccentric locks. Slightly turning and pulling the door will make it easier to get it loose.
Δp in the table gives the maximum positive pressure theaccess door can withstand when installed from beneath.

DescriptionThe access door is also used as an inspection hatch for rec-tangular ducts. To the access door belongs a fixing frame, which is attached to the rectangular duct. This is normally done with blind rivets through the folded-down edge of the done frame. It can also be provided with folding tabs on request.It is easy to remove the access door from the fixing frame by using over-centre catches. In the insulated versions, the inner side will always be in level with the innermost bound-ary line of the duct, irrespective of whether the duct is insu-lated internally or externally. The table below shows the insulation thickness of the door at different duct insulation alternatives.

The door should not be placed closer than 50 mm from the nearest side of the rectangular duct.Maximum square measurement of the access door is 1170×1170 mm.
