HDMI® over IP (HD/IP™) from Just Add Power is an Ethernet network-based HD video distribution system that is ideal for integrators delivering large-scale, multi-zone HDTV and video wall projects. Unlike fixed format HDMI matrices, HD/IP™ lets you create a network of HDMI devices that is scalable to the exact size you require, from 1x1 up to 4,000 x 65,000.

How it works

2G+ A/V Pro transmitters & receivers

Every HD/IP™ network, regardless of size or scope, requires three main components towork: a transmitter unit for every source device connected to the HDMI network, a gigabit managed network (made up of gigabit managed ethernet switches) for routing and distribution of HD signals and a receiver unit to decode back in to HDMI at every display location.

Using everyday IP to build a video distribution network, it is possible to scale up or down depending on your requirements. If you need more displays or sources, simplyadd more receivers and transmitters, you are only limited by the number of ports available on your managed gigabit network.

Stereo Audio Extraction at both the receivers and transmitters with adjustable lip sync delay via software or physical buttons on the base of the unit.

Transmitter HDMI passthrough port for taking video from your source onwards to other devices. The transmitter HDMI passthrough port also facilitates easier implementation of High Quality mode for Video Wall applications.

USB 2.0 over IP allowing keyboards and mice to be attached to the 2G+ receivers and communicate over the network.

Integrated Null Modem making RS232 connections to serial controlled devices even easier.

Locking HDMI cables for mission critical applications

CEC over IP independent processor allowing CEC commands to be sent to displays and sources.
