Through December 31, 2017, we’re offering qualifying healthcare facilities a free lighting assessment and 30% bonus rebates on the latest high-efficiency qualified lighting solutions.

Participating in this Healthcare Lighting promotion* is simple, first get a free lighting assessment, and then complete lighting upgrades before the end of this year to earn the 30% bonus rebate. In addition to the bonus rebate, the total eligible rebate amount has been increased to up to 75% of the lighting project cost.

1. Schedule your free lighting assessmentThe free lighting assessment includes:

• Site visit from a dedicated lighting advisor

• Identification of the best upgrades for your facility

• Custom assessment report with recommendations identified during the assessment

2. Upgrade lighting equipmentWe offer prescriptive and custom rebates for energy-efficient lighting upgrades which can help reduce up-front costs. Your lighting advisor can help you obtain bids from qualified lighting contractors, determine qualifying products and help you apply for the rebate.

• Prescriptive rebates are for common lighting retrofit projects that have specific rebate amounts for each individual solution.

• Custom rebates may be available for lighting projects that are not listed on the prescriptive rebate application or not a one-for-one replacement. The actual amount of a custom rebate (up to $400 per kW saved) will be determined at the time you submit paperwork for preapproval.

3. Receive your 30% bonus rebateThe 30% bonus rebate will be automatically added to your total rebate amount, no need to submit extra paperwork! Also, your total rebate amount will be capped at 75% of the total project cost. Rebate applications must be invoiced no later than December 31, 2017 and the project complete with paperwork received by June 30, 2018 to qualify for these rebates and increased rebate cap. You’ll receive your rebate check in the mail within 4-6 weeks of submitting your rebate application.

Qualifying healthcare facilitiesOur special lighting promotion is available for Colorado healthcare facilities that are Xcel Energy business electric customers. The offer applies to retrofits as well as new construction projects. Examples of qualifying facility types include:

• Ambulatory healthcare services

• Dental offices

• Hospitals

• Individual and family services

• Nursing care facilities

• Offices of other health practitioners

• Outpatient care centers

• Physicians’ offices
