I welcome you to the 13th edition of Global Forwarder Network News, the CLN official newsletter.

To all members who started out with us, thank you for accompanying us this far. We will never be one of the biggest global networks if not for the trust, continued support and loyalty you have given us. I would also like to extend my sincerest appreciation to all the highly qualified new CLN members who chose us to be their network. combined Logistics Networks has successfully participated in several global freight forwarding events this year, widely promoting the network members. Among the gatherings that we have joined includes the Latin Cargo Meet 2016 which was held last April 3 to 6, 2016 at Pullman Sao Paolo Ibirapuera and Transamerica Expo Center and Intermodal South America in Brazil last April

5 to 7, 2016.

CLN also attended the 1st Eurasia Cargo Meet last April 21-23, 2016 at the Radisson Royal Hotel Moscow. Eurasia Cargo Meet serves as a platform for freight forwarders to form partnerships and develop business that will help them to thrive in the industry.

The 4-day Africargo Meet held at Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, Capetown, South Africa last May 9 was also attended by CLN and some of its members. The said event serves as a ground for freight forwarders to help them be familiar with the global logistics industry from freight forwarders who specializes in the African market.

In the following month, CLN joined the 1st Air Cargo Summit that was held last June 12-15, 2016 at the luxurious Hyatt on the BundHotel Shanghai, China and Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The event was attended by airfreight professionals from all over the world who came together to explore partnering opportunities and to jointly develop innovative air cargo products and services. And as most of you are familiar with, this coming October 9-12, 2016, CLN will again be participating at The Freight Summit in Bali, Indonesia.

reliance Freight Systems LLC (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) managed to successfully completed a huge project much earlier than the given timeline. The project is to dismantle

the Dubai Wonder Park rides and ship to Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Among the 25 companies in United Arab Emirates, Reliance has won as the bidder of this project. They have managed to completed this job in 32 days, much earlier than the 45 to 60 days deadline. Even with old and rusty state of the rides and limited work force, Reliance handled the project swiftly--dismantling, marking, packing and loading containers intricately.

The contract includes the transportation of 3,650 tons of equipment such as a steam boiler, turbine, generator and transformer, among other items; the shipments are being moved from Sao Paulo to Veracruz.

A sugar refinery that is part of the Coca-Cola group will be using thebiomass-powered steam generator, supplied by a Brazilian firm, to help ramp up its operations.

It can be noted that biomass refers to any organic, non-fossilized matter of animal or vegetable origin that can be used to generate heat, either for direct industrial use and electricity generation or in the production of other forms of energy (such as charcoal, ethanol, biodiesel or combustible gases).

Among the 3,650 ton of equipment that will be moved by the company along the 450km from the plant to the port of Santos includes the steam boiler weighing 76.5 tons and 16.5m in length.
