Invitation to a workshop in the

LARGE SCALE BIOENERGY-LAB 2

The workshop will focus on two main topics within bio-

gas production:

Lignocellulosic biomasses

Anerobic digestion of lignocellulosic biomass are of

high relevance as it is a often unutilised resource avail-

able all over the world. Practical cases on the challeng-

es and opportunities of introducing large quantities of

straw, hay, grass and deep litter will be presented and

discussed.

Aquatic biomasses.

Aquatic biomass, such macro- and micro algae are of

increasing interests within biogas production. Much

research within the utilization, logistics and resource

potentials are however still needed. A case story from

Solrød Biogas, where macro algae are being utilized

will be presented, so as new results on the possibilities

for adding value to the production cycle via extraction.

We hope to see you at our workshop day! Let´s meet

and share knowledge and experience while strengthen-

ing the corporation in the biogas sector in our regions.
