Key SaFety & SeCURIty FeatUReS
Matched System: Remote Initiators are matched and coded to single Command Unit.
Command Unit handshakes with Remote Initiators using 2-way communications.
Communications Link: 900-928MHz Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum RF data link with 256-bit safety/security encryption. (Licence free in USA & Canada only).
Status Check: Remote Initiator status can be checked at any time.
Default Safe Condition: Remote Initiators return to safe state (i.e. arming/firing circuits disabled within 5 secs) on loss of comms, low battery or cancelled firing sequence.
Safe Arming Time: Minimum 60 sec delay after Remote Initiator is switched on.
Remote Initiator output shorted until valid FIRE command received.
Remote Initiators deactivate safely if firing sequence is aborted.
2-button operation of Command Unit during firing sequence.
Note: 1. Actual range will vary depending upon environmental conditions.
CommanD UnIt
The Command Unit transmitter will initiate up to 5 charges, independently or simultaneously, using a remote wireless radio link. Secure RF communications allow Remote Initiators to be triggered only by the matching Command Unit and intrinsic protection features guard against accidental initiation.
Monitor and control (e.g. arm/disarm) up to 5 Remote Initiators.
Charges can be selected and fired individually or in groups of 2 to 5.
Daylight visible LED status indicators for all Remote Initiators.
Guarded ARM and FIRE buttons.
Over 8 hours mission life in Ready Mode.
RF Output: 1 Watt.
Powered by 4 x standard 9V alkaline batteries.
Weight: less than 1kg (2.2lbs).

Fully compatible with initiation using electric detonators/blasting caps and non-electrical (NONEL™) shock-tube. Each Remote Initiator is supplied with an Electric Firing Adapter and a Shock-Tube Firing adaptor as standard. Firing Adaptors are replaceable.
Daylight visible LED individual status indicator.
Over 8 hours mission life in Ready Mode.
Electrical Output: 300V / 4.5 Joules into 0.5 Ohm pulsed.
Suitable for 0.125in and 0.150in diameter shock-tube.
