Product Concept

The living room sofa isn’t the only place to relax. Everyone has their favorite spot: By the window enjoying the evening breeze, in an secret attic room, – perhaps even on the stairs. The concept of the LSX-70 is to create a pleasant and calming atmosphere wherever you happen to be. The cylindrical LSX-70 is 9.4cm in diameter and easy to handle due to the textured synthetic leather finish. Two speakers located at the top and bottom of the unit are designed to produce 360-degree non-directional sound. Tuning is linked to volume for perfectly balanced audio whether listening quietly on your own or with the music turned up. Take the LSX-70 and find your favorite spot.

Sound & Light Reflector

Sound and light is diffused through 360 degrees with optimal efficiency by a slightly tapered cone that is aluminum coated and polished to a mirror finish. Such is the nature of the Sound & Light Reflector, that it has become a design feature in itself.

Shade

The shade of the LSX-170 is formed of two sheets of uniformly curved steel, a material that is both highly durable and acoustically beneficial. The result is a semi-transparency, so that even when the light is not switched on, the beautiful contours of the inner form are visible.

Product Concept

Designed for the shelf, the LSX-170 contains two speakers that point upward. Both audio and light are diffused horizontally over a 360-degree range, and this feature lends the LSX-170 its iconic form. We designed the entire product to express this circle of light and sound. Two rings of light appear, symbolizing the widening circle of sound. The six LEDs arranged in a circle around the base of the unit create a glowing halo effect as if the unit is lit by spotlights on a stage, resulting in an almost mystical appearance that brings out the inherent spirituality of music.

Product Concept

This floor-standing audio system brings together speakers and interior lighting in a single unit. We designed the LSX-700 as a slender, compact column to fit unobtrusively into any room, even in a corner. The prism portion is a mere 9cm in diameter. The sound and light sources are positioned close together to create the impression that the sound has been made visible. Shapes formed from light and the shadow dance across the wall bringing drama and atmosphere to the whole room. The natural, open sound of the LSX-700 has been achieved by positioning two speakers on the rear of the unit angled at 45-degrees to the left and right to reflect sound off the walls. A third speaker in the top of the unit results in an acoustic image that is both open and clear. Enjoy a place of tranquility that displays different aspects during the day and at night.
