PASTOR APPRECIATION
Well it’s that time of the year –football games, fall
leaves and October is Pastor Appreciation Month.
Lighthouse Church has been blessed with wonderful
pastors (Kirk Johnston, Brad Buescher, and our
volunteer Pastor TJ Rose) and although we hope they
know they are appreciated every day, what a great
opportunity to let them know how we feel. Please take some time this
month to express your appreciation by sending a personal note, baking a
treat (Brad does not eat gluten) or sending a gift card. Please plan to stay
for cake and punch after worship on Sunday, October 27th, as we honor
our pastors.

Living Nativity
The Living Nativity will not take place this year, 2019.
According to our fearless leader, Tricia Sinclair, we will
plan to do the Nativity every other year going forward.
We look forward to doing so in the year 2020. If you would like to be part of
the planning committee, please email Tricia at [email protected]. At
least one meeting will be held this year.

Congratulations to first time great-grandparents, Dave & Tauna Connell. Best wishes to Jenny & Justin Bulcock, parents of baby Avery Elise. Lincoln Alexander Shay was born on Oct. 1st to the parents of Brian & Jillian Shay. Proud grandparents are Larry & Penny Fulk.
This note of thanks is long overdue. I have had a number of health problems and challenges this year and the prayers and support of my Church family have been a great source of comfort to me. Lighthouse is a truly giving church in so many ways and I am privileged to be a member.
Theresa Morrison In the next few weeks we will be moving to a home we’ve bought in Lee’s Summit, MO, but will still be around
Paola until our house sells. We would like to thank our Lighthouse Church family for the many friendships and support we have encountered over the last twelve years. May God be with you all in the future.
