Those with mutual goals join each other
along the way. We have a few tools with
us that will help us reach our goal more
quickly and comfortably.
Ser vice
to us is more than just an abstract
concept: For big and small projects alike,
our application technology will prepare
building designs, compile smoke and
heat exhaust ventilation system
calculations and determine the static
dimensioning of glass, taking into
consideration its mounting position and
expected climate conditions.
If needed, we will also make building-
related static calculations for the
supporting frame.
Experience

the work easier. We already have the
answers to many questions and can
smoothly be implemented new ideas.
Core competence: "Roof"

Our objective: to offer a product with
optimum thermal technology using
every type of glass equipped with the
modern „warm edges“ technology
necessary for a continuous isothermic
course.
Glass that cleans itself
We also offer you the innovative self-
cleaning glass SGGBIOCLEAN with a Ug
value of up to 1.1 depending on the type.
This special glazing uses the sun as a
window cleaner. An invisible layer is
applied to the glass which uses the UV
rays to simply loosen dirt. When it rains,
the water spreads and washes the dirt
away - without water spots.

A „roof light“ with a glazed top for high
demands in sound, thermal and solar
protection.
It is often the case that lighting elements
must be installed especially into flat roofs
with higher demands in sound and
thermal protection.
For such cases, we offer our LAMILUX
light architecture FE in square and
rectangular designs corresponding to the
LAMILUX light architecture FP in features
and glazing variety.

New technology
ITL (isotherm load converter)
Your advantage: extremely good heat insulation value, thermal-bridge-free base and reduced condensation build-up.
C I S y s t e m l i g h t a r c h i t e c t u r e FE
Your choice of upstand
from 15 cm to 50 cm height
A thermal-bridge-free filigree base - how
does that work? With ITL technology
developed by LAMILUX. Like all good
ideas, this one is quite simple. The
consistent use of continuously foamed
core composite zones results in a high-
strength, thermally ideal aluminium
system with a continuous isothermic
course. In addition, the directly opposed
sealing system forms a defined opening
which guides the continuous isothermic
course to the upstand uninterrupted.
Flat „roof light“
We recommend a lightly inclined
installation of about 3° to avoid standing
water on the glazing.
For cases in which this is not possible, we
offer a model inclined at 3° with a rabbet
edge. Design for 0.75 kN/m2 snow load at an installationheight of 8 m

Experts agree that a sensible fire
protection concept should include natural
smoke and heat exhaust ventilation
systems. LAMILUX offers planners and
architects the capacity to integrate natural
smoke and heat exhaust ventilation
systems into overall creative architectural
concepts.
Our natural smoke and heat exhaust
ventilation system consists of a thermally
separate wing system and a pneumatic
natural smoke and heat exhaust
ventilation system trigger component.
The system has been certified (ABP No.
P-MPA-E-99-158) and fulfils requirements
in compliance with DIN 18232-3 and
DIN-EN 12101 as an integral part of a
natural smoke and heat exhaust
ventilation system. The system is
triggered by CO2 remote and/or thermal
triggering device.
Our LAMILUX natural smoke and heat
exhaust ventilation system can be
installed in LAMILUX glass roofs, in
LAMILUX shed wall systems, as self-
contained elements in pitched roofs and
in renovating existing continuous roof
lights, even if from another manufacturer.
You can choose between insulation
glazings or polycarbonate glazings. The
ventilation is opened by a flanged
electrical motor or pneumatically by a
cylinder. We offer a range of models
(depending on local conditions). The
LAMILUX natural smoke and heat
exhaust ventilation system type KWS60
can be installed in glazings with an
inclination of 30-60°. The opening angle
for the wings is always approx. 60°, the
maximum geometric opening size 2.0 m2
or for polycarbonate glazing up to approx.
3.5 m2. The wing width and height can
be selected in practically all dimensions,
and the aerodynamic cross-sections can
be fitted ideally to your needs.

L AMILUX SYSTEM FOR
PYRAMIDS AND SPECIAL
CONSTRUCTIONS
At some point or another, probably every
architect dreams the dream of free space.
Using our KWS 60 system makes many
things possible and also simpler thanks
to the nature of the system.

protection. Hidden screw connections (4)
and transverse joints without covering
strips (5) are possible as well. You can
also receive ventilated versions with the
wing systems appropriate for the
construction system with electrical
motors of 230 V or 24 V.
Smoke and heat exhaust ventilation
systems are taking on an increasingly
important roll in fire protection concepts.
LAMILUX system KWS 60 designs can
be equipped with smoke and heat
exhaust ventilation systems in
compliance with DIN 18232/
DIN-EN 12101 (see also page 11).
Your advantage
– Angle of inclination from 10-70° at any
range.
– Virtually any shape is possible.
– Colours available from the RAL range.
Interior and exterior colours may differ.
– Smoke and heat exhaust ventilation
system in compliance with DIN
18232/DIN-EN 12101: the necessary
safety standards for sophisticated
architecture.
Technically, the torsion-resistant support
structure (1) made of high-grade
aluminium with integrated screw
channels and interior seal system with
condensation guides (2) leaves nothing to
be desired.
LAMILUX quality is reflected in its high-
quality overhead glazing, glass support
bolts made of stainless steel, covering
strips with stainless steel screw
connections (3) and in a heat insulated
eave point with foil connection and
surrounding metal casing. Stainless steel
vaporised insulation glass offers solar

We supply all glazing systems with exterior float glass as standard.
Upon request: Exterior ESG glazing, light scattering model with matt-finished VSG pane, with silk screen printing or
with detected burglary-inhibiting glass as well as additional glass types.
Prof i le system
– Profile visual width 60 mm
– The structural support is orientated to
the static requirement
– Special interlocked insertion connector
for high structural stability and firmness
to the carrying joints
– Rigid profile cross-section enables
even complex profile contacts
Glass seal system
– The interior aluminium construction
does not come into contact with water
– Sealing supports thermal separation
– Seal system is designed to overlap
itself without direct contact
– Glass edge ventilation ensured around
each pane
– Seal system has secondary drainage in
inner sealing
Upstands, f rames
– LAMILUX sheet metal frames
– Exterior parapet upstands made of
wood, concrete, sheet metal, sectional
steel
Wing system is installed in the same alignment as the
remaining cover strips in the construction. Interior
view is not affected by narrowing of interior glazing
surface. Measurements in mm.
