Church Life Bulletin May 5, 2013

AIC welcomes the Glow in the Dark (GID) team in our midst today. They will share and lead us in our worship experience this morning. The GID is the outreach team from Christian Alliance International School (CAIS). They travel to China 3 -4 times a year to partner with the local brothers and sisters to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and also visit Hong Kong schools to do the same.

The GOVERNING COMMITTEE (GC) met last Sunday and received reports from the Lead

Pastor and the Treasurer. The items for discussion include: AGM review, Pastor for Discipleship, Pastor Dan Tupps officially starts on 15 August, acceptance of resignation of Pastor Jerry and proposal of hiring a Youth Director. The GC appointed the following officers: Vice-Chairman – King Yeung Yu, Treasurer – Allison Low, and Secretary- Janet Chan. The next GC meeting is scheduled on 26 May.

3rd Annual All Church BBQ on 19 May at Clear Water Bay Country Park! No Sunday

Discipleship for both the Children and Adults that day. Buses will leave at 11:30 am. Please sign up NOW at the Info table to help us plan for bus arrangement and BBQ food. Please bring your own bottled water/drink; fruits and snacks to share.

There will be a BOOK SALE on 2 June in the Church Hall after service from 11:00 a.m.-

PRECEPT WORKSHOP -“Introduction to Inductive Bible Study”, Sunday, 2 June
