ROMANIA Our country is situated in

Eastern Europe. The map looks like a large

bouquet of flowers in a vase which is the Black Sea.

Romanian is very similar to Italian. Many Romanians learn Italian only by watching TV.

We say Buna dimineata (Good morning)

Buna ziua (Good afternoon) Buna seara (Good evening) La revedere (Good bye)

FOOD

One of our traditional foods is “sarmale” which is very similar to the greek “dolmathakia” but they are wrapped in pickled cabbage leaves instead.

We eat a lot of cooked food, vegetables, pork, chicken, fruit and lots of home made pastries.
