Life Drawing and Still Life Classes

Our Life Drawing and Still Life afternoons are enjoyable 3

hour tutored classes led by Richard Barry. with expert

guidance towards a deeper understanding of drawing

from life.

These classes are dedicated to individual tuition and sothere will be a maximum of ten student places per class.

Early booking is therefore advisable.

The classes run alternately on either a Saturday or a

Sunday, usually fortnightly.

A block booking of 5 classes will cost 110 saving15!You can alternate between Life Drawing and Still Life

classes should you wish to do so.

Additional Information

Booking:

Once you have booked your place by sending or emailing us your booking form, we will

email you to confirm your order. If you do not appear to have received our email please

check your spam folder. Feel free to call us if you have any problems with your booking form

or locating your confirmation email. If you would prefer to book over the phone or if you

have any queries, we would be happy to answer any questions or take bookings by phone

on 01503 250747.

Payment:Payment needs to be made in full before commencement of the class/s chosen by any of

the methods shown on the Booking Form above. Places on the classes will be allocated on a

first to pay basis. Should the class on your chosen date be full, you will be offered an

alternative date.

Access:

If you require any specific access or support requirements, please give us a call at the time

of booking and we can discuss your requirements.

Clothing:

Please wear old clothing as being an artist can be messy!

Abilities:

We cater for all skill levels from absolute beginners to the more experienced artist. We

suggest an age restriction of 18 years of age and upwards to ensure the safety and

enjoyment of all our students.

Refunds:

If cancellation by you occurs within the statutory 7 days of making your booking and

completing payment, then you are entitled to a full refund.

If cancellation by you occurs more than 7 days after the date of booking then you are

entitled to transfer to a class on a different date. You will not be entitled to a refund.

Terms and Conditions

1. General Course and Class Services

1.1 Places on the courses/classes will be allocated on a first to pay basis. Should the

course/class on your chosen date be full, you will be offered an alternative date.

1.2 We reserve the right to alter course/class timings, dates and content.

1.3 Please ensure that you inform us prior to booking of any special requirements/disability

that you may have so that we can make every effort to accommodate your needs.

1.4 We only accept bookings from adults of 18 years old and over.

2. Fees

2.1 All fees must be paid on booking the course/class and before its commencement. Once

full payment is received and cleared then your place will be confirmed.

2.2 Course/class fees include all materials.

2.3 Methods of fee payment are outlined on the Booking form. Payments in advance by

post, by phone, by bank transfer, by PayPal, or in person will be accepted. Cheques must be

made payable to R BARRY and received at least 5 working days before the commencementof the course. We do not accept payments on the day.

3. Cancellations

3.1 Cancellations by you:

3.1.a If cancellation by you occurs within the statutory 7 days of making your booking and

completing payment, then you are entitled to a full refund.

3.1.b If cancellation by you occurs more than 7 days after the date of booking then you areentitled to transfer to a course/class on a different date. You will not be entitled to a refund.

3.1.c If you are unable to attend a course/class then a friend or family member can take

your place as long as we are notified at least 24 hours in advance and provided with their

name and contact details.

3.1.d If you are unable to attend due to illness then we may, at our sole discretion, vary our

cancellation policy. We will need documentary evidence before making this decision.

3.2 Cancellations by us:

3.2.a We reserve the right to cancel any course/class at any time subject to the student

receiving either a full refund or a transfer to an alternate course or class.

3.2.b All of our courses/classes require a minimum booking level and therefore may be

cancelled at our discretion if these numbers are not met.

4. Conduct

4.1 We reserve the right to dismiss any student from a course/class if we feel that they are

behaving in an unacceptable manner. This is at our sole discretion.

5. Liability

5.1 We shall not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage (whetherfor loss of profit, loss of business, depletion of goodwill or otherwise and including but not

limited to, travel and accommodation costs or damage to clothing), costs, expenses or other

claims for consequential compensation whatsoever (however caused) which arise out of or

in connection with this Agreement.

5.2 We will not be held responsible for any loss of personal possessions from the premises.

5.3 We will not be held liable for any loss suffered by you resulting from any course or event

which is beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to acts of God, wars, riots,

civil commotions, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rules,regulations or directions, accidents, breakdowns of plant or machinery, fires, floods,

extreme weather, pandemics, epidemics or other outbreaks of disease or infection, or

failure in the supply of electricity, heating, lighting or telecommunications equipment.

6. Health and safety

6.1 Students who fail to comply with our Health and Safety rules will be asked to leave the

course/class.

7. Data Protection and intellectual Property Rights

7.1 We will not pass your data on to third parties. We will only use it to inform you about

similar courses or information related to the courses that we think you may be interested in

unless tell us that you do not wish to receive this information.

7.2 You will own the copyright of any works created by you upon creation but you hereby

grant us a license of such copyright and the right to use such works and further your name

and image in any photograph taken by us or on our behalf or supplied by you to us for

advertising purposes including without limitation our related websites and literature.

us to cancel your booking immediately without any refund at any time.

8.3 We take no responsibilities for any other business or website to whom you gain access

through our website or literature. These websites or businesses are totally independent

from us and we have no control over their content. Neither do we endorse or accept any

responsibility for any information shown on these websites. We will not be liable for any

loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused by such a link or website.

8.4 These clauses also apply to any person substituting for an initial applicant.

8.5 All notices should be sent to our registered address at Richard Barry Fine Art, The Old

Chapel, Minard Cross, Torpoint, Cornwall, PL11 3HE or email [email protected].

8.6 You agree to indemnify us in relation to any complaint or action taken against us by any

third party as the result of your behaviour or actions whilst attending a course or class or for

any statements made or images posted on any site on the internet at any time. You further

give your consent to the removal by us at any time and in our discretion of any content

posted by you on our website or any website or part of a website that is controlled by us

and undertake to remove any posts made by you or material posted by you from any

website immediately upon request by us without having to give a reason for such request.

8.7 No failure or delay by us in enforcing any of our rights under this contract shall bedeemed to be a waiver of such rights.

8.8 Your signature on the booking form constitutes your full Agreement of this contract.
