PURPOSE• Their purpose was to inform the audience the importance of Life and Death row in

the United States• They wanted to also inform and educate the audience by showcasing the

environment and back stories of the inmates on the show.• The series could come across as very interesting as they go in detail with every sector

in the crime

Documentary techniques used, and whether it is biased / unbiased• A documentary technique used frequently is interviews, this helps the target

audience stay connected, it also gives us a better understanding and back story of the prisoners

• It also illustrates the reality of the show as everything used in the documentary is true, as the documentary follows individuals lifes in prison up until to their execution or sentence

• In my opinion I feel that the documentary is unbiased to an extent as the government follow the rules to keep criminals in prison to serve time or extreme measure to face execution. On the other hand other individuals nay find facing execution is a bit too much, in my opinion I do think the target audience will be biased and un biased on some terms in the documentary
