INSTALLATION MANAGEMENT COMMAND Lieutenant General David D. Halverson Commander, Installation Management Command And Assistant Chief Of Staff For Installation Management Lieutenant General David D. Halverson assumed duties on April 8, 2014, after serving as Deputy Commanding General for the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Eustis, Va., for almost two years. LTG Halverson graduated from the United States Military Academy and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Field Artillery in June 1979. LTG Halverson’s first duty assignment was in the 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas, in 1979 where he served as a Battalion Reconnaissance Officer, Battery Fire Direction and Executive Officer and Battalion Adjutant. Since then, LTG Halverson served in various staff and leadership positions including command at every level from Battery to Post Command. He attended the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif., where he was awarded a Master of Science degree in Operations Research and Systems Analysis in 1989. He was then assigned as the Senior Military Analyst in the Joint Wargaming Division of the United States Southern Command in Panama. He provided essential planning for military operations and Army budget development in positions such as the Chief of the Program Analysis Team in the Program Analysis and Evaluation Directorate, Office of the U.S. Army Chief of Staff. In June 2001, LTG Halverson became the Central Command J3, Chief of Plans and planned, coordinated, and executed war plans for OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM and OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM. From 2004 until January 2005, he served as the Deputy Commanding General (Support) for the 4th Infantry Division where he deployed for OIF 5/7. After his deployment in January 2007, he assumed duties as the Director of Operations, Readiness, and Mobilization for the G-3/5/7 until May 2008. He then served as Director of Force Development, G-8, until August 2009. LTG Halverson’s military education includes the Field Artillery Basic and Advanced Courses, the Armed Forces Staff College, the Army War College, and the British Higher Command and Staff College. LTG Halverson’s awards and decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Defense Superior Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Legion of Merit with four Oak Leaf Clusters, Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Joint Unit Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Staff Badge, and the Parachutist Badge.

Lieutenant General David D. Command Sergeant Major Jeffrey S. Hartless Command Sergeant Major, U.S. Army Installation Management Command Command Sergeant Major Jeffrey S. Hartless assumed duties Dec. 12, 2013, as the Command Sergeant Major for the U.S. Army Installation Management Command. CSM Hartless is also the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the U.S. Army Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management. His previous assignment was as Command Sergeant Major for the Installation Management Command’s Europe Region, Sembach, Germany. CSM Hartless was born in Lynchburg, Va., and graduated from Amherst County High School in 1981. He entered the U.S. Army in April 1983, completing Basic, Advanced

Individual Training and Airborne School at Fort Benning, Ga. During his more than 30 years of service, CSM Hartless has held many leadership positions including squad leader, platoon sergeant, ranger instructor, platoon trainer, first sergeant, brigade operations sergeant major, battalion sergeant major, and garrison and brigade command sergeant major. CSM Hartless has been assigned to Hunter Army Airfield, Ga.; Camp Frank D. Merrill, Ga.; Fort Campbell, Ky.; Fort Lewis, Wash.; Camp Ederle, Italy; Fort Polk, La.; Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Md.; Wiesbaden, Germany; and Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas. CSM Hartless also deployed in support of OPERATIONS ENDURING FREEDOM, DESERT SHIELD and DESERT STORM. CSM Hartless is a graduate of all Noncommissioned Officer Education System schools. He has graduated from the U.S. Army Ranger School; Airborne School; Pathfinder School; the Air Assault Course; Survival, Evasion, Escape and Resistance High Risk Course; Jumpmaster School; Instructor Training Course; the Jungle Warfare Course; the Advanced Demolition Course; Class 52 of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy; and the Garrison Sergeants Major Course. Major General Lawarren V. Patterson Deputy Commanding General for Operations & Chief of Staff, U.S. Army Installation Management Command

Major General Lawarren Patterson serves as Deputy Commanding General for Operations and Chief of Staff for The U.S. Army Installation Management Command since October 2014.

MG Patterson was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 1982 in the Signal Corps and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Norfolk State University. He holds a Master of Science Degree in General Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Masters in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.

Brigadier General Jason T. Evans was born in Baltimore, Maryland and was raised as an Air Force dependent. He attended Wentworth Military Academy where he earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Bellevue University, Bellevue, Nebraska. He holds Masters Degrees in Business Administration and National Resource Strategy.

Brigadier General Evans has served in command and staff positions in the continental United States, Italy, Somalia, Kosovo, Germany, and Iraq with the 13th
