designed to look like a Carnegie Library. Carnegie built many libraries around the country during this era. Many people in town are sentimental

The mission of the Sandwich District Library is to be the center for information access through a variety of formats. To work with individuals, groups of people, and organizations to meet the needs of a diverse and growing community. The library will be a place for the public to share ideas, learn, and grow.

The Sandwich District Library will be a vital organization providing a culturally stimulating environment for sharing ideas, information, and materials. People of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of need will be able to access resources for self-education and enrichment.
