How to access online catalog?

On JVLMA website Bibliotēkas

sadaļā (Library section) - find

the section Elektroniskais

katalogs (online catalog) and

open it.

How to register in the online catalog?1. In the online catalog, find the section Sign-in and activate. • 2. In User ID box, type

your user ID number assigned to you by librarian.

• In the Verification box, enter the password.

3. Then press Log On. After changing the password,

as user ID, you can also use your personal identification

number without dash.

Registration

After the registration you can:

• search for information sources,

• order information sources,

• view your user information.

How to search for information sources?

1. Select section Search.

2. In the Search box, type a search request and select the criteria by which to search.

3. Search can be limited by choosing language of edition, format, or the chronological limitation.

How to order information sources?

When the necessary information is found, you can open it by clicking on the underlined number on the left side.

Choose section All items

To order the selected source, click on the caption - Request.

Before you order, make sure that the requested copy is On Shelf.

A booking request window will open in which you need to press the GO button 2 times andinformation resource will be ordered.

Multi-field search

Multi-field search is similar to simple search, but here you can write all information about resource if you know it. This will limit amount of results

Section – My library card

In this section you can see: • Which information sources are

checked-out • Your check-out history list, • Information about booking

requests,• Cash transations (fines).

Previous Searches

This section allows you to view previous search results.
