The Peritus Library for PTC’s Pro-EngineerThe Peritus library for PTC’s Pro-Engineer is the largest library of connector models and wire part spools available today. Designed natively in PTC’s Pro-Engineer software, it contains over 1.5 million connector part numbers, and 2 million wire and cable part numbers from MIL, GSFC, SAE, NEMA, and other industry specifications. It can drastically reduce the amount of time that your engineers and designers spend modeling and researching parts, and allow them to concentrate their efforts on design development.

Full Featured LibraryThe Peritus library for PTC’s Pro-Engineer is a full featured library, developed in accordance with a governing specification that dictates modeling, informational, andconfiguration requirements. All files and informational parameter data are configuration controlled at the file and library level, and all models are created in the same manner for ease of use and interchangeability. The library is updated to reflect Mil, industry and customer specification changes every 6 months.

ConnectorsAll connectors in the library are modeled in accordance with the Peritus library specification, allowing connectors to be easily interchanged across series, and can contain up to 320 informational parameters. Each connector part number also comes with a Connector Face Cross Section (CFCS) symbol toaid in connector and insert orientation on harness drawings. Available connector series are denoted on the enclosed Connecter Series List.

Wire SpoolsThe wire spool parts in the library are created with up to 100 information parameters, and can be used with both PTC’s Pro-Engineer and Routed Systems Designer. Available wire series are denoted on the enclosed Wire Series List.

Customized For Your OrganizationThe Peritus Library is fully customizable at every level. You can select the part numbers of the connectors and wire that you need, from one item to an entire series of parts. You can also select which parameters you would like to include in each of your library parts from ourparameter list, and supply us with customer specific parameters as well. This allows you tobuild a library that is well suited to the needs of your organization, and can be easily used by your designers and engineers.

Parts SelectionSelect the part numbers that are required for your current design development from millions of Mil, GSFC, SAE, NEMA, and other industry connector and wire specifications. You can add more parts to your library as your needs increase, and we will deliver them to you via electronic lock box. We can even provide custom part creation for items that aren’t included in our current library.

Parameter SelectionYou can select which informational parameters we include in your library, including customer specific information. Our library creation process allows us to take the Mil or Industry specifica-tion data and part models, and combine them with your unique data and requirements to create a custom library that is suited to your organization. All that you have to do is supply us with your internal part specifications and qualified provider list, and we insert those parameters into your library parts, making the information available at the design and drawing level.

Library ManagementWith the Peritus Library, managing your library becomes simple. We provide library management for all of the parts included in your library, and update the library every 6 months to reflect changes in the Mil, Industry, or your internal specifications. We configuration control your library after every update, and provide you with a list of the changes that were made to your library. This reduces the time that you spend on part management, and insures that your designers and engineers are always working with the latest part information.
