Flashpoint Centre Play Five to 13 years
Activity centre for children which delivers an exciting programme of activities in games, sports, arts, crafts, dance, computers and much more, including spider mountain. Open from Monday 20 July to Friday 5 September, between 9am and 6pm. Holiday play centreFive to 13 years
Holiday play centres offer a wide range of opportunities for children aged five to 13. Activities include games, arts and crafts, sports, cookery, dance, special events and off-site activities. Venture Centre Notting Hill Adventure Playground Five to 15 years
Adventure play activities for children and young people aged five to 15 years old. There are two play areas (one for under eights and one for over eights) with climbing and adventure play structures to meet all needs. Off-site trips (Fridays): Kayaking off-site on various rivers and weirs around the south east, including day trips on the tideway exploring London by kayak. Trips are open to those with relevant skill level. There will be a range of trips over the summer to suit those new to the sport and those with skills already (location TBC). Kayaking/canoeing: Learning to kayak on the tidal Thames. Mornings from 11am to 1pm. Kayaking/canoeing: Kayak improvers and skill development. Normal youth club activities, trips and projects. Activities include: trampoling, T-shirt design/printing, music production, weight training, cooking, steel pan workshop, photography, sexual health and drug awareness workshops/training, and graffiti workshop. Trips include:
go-karting, paintballing, theatre, Aquasplash, ice skating, bowling and the cinema. There will also be a trip to Chessington World of Adventures or Thorpe Park happening on the Friday of every week. T-shirt design: Use industry standard software to design your own T-shirt. You provide the ideas, we supply the T-shirts! History of Hip-Hop: Find out more about the origins of Hip-Hop and R&B. Learn about the structure of lyric writing and then make your own demo track. Arts and crafts: Learn a wide range of new arty skills including Arabic calligraphy, mosaic design, screen–printing and T-shirt design. This summer you can work alongside media professionals to produce a DVD on issues that affect YOU!
