Last season, Liberty went 24-9 and captured its 14th Big South title in the last 16 seasons. The Lady Flames will have a challenging start to the 2012-13 season, including a preseason appearance at the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT), and games against the last two NCAA Division I national champions, Baylor and Texas A&M. Contests versus local rivals James Madison and VCU will also help prepare Head Coach Carey Green’s squad for its 18 Big South Conference tilts.
