The Liberty Bell’s location is Liberty Bell Center, Market Street and 6th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
It is in Independence Mall. It was a gift from France.
The bell cracked during a test ringing. Then it was recast. It cracked again July 8, 1835.
The Bell is 70% copper, 25% tin, the rest is bronze. It is 3 feet tall and weighs just over a ton.
The bell was named the Liberty Bell in 1839. It’s original name was the State House Bell.

The circumference of the bell is 12 feet. The crack is 24 and a half inches long and a half an inch wide.
Liberty Bell Center is now like a little museum. People come look at it all the time to remember when we earned liberty and
freedom.
