Activity 1 -Teacher show a jazz chant about “my hobby”

-student will repeat the jazz chant after

teacher

-student will created their own jazz chant

about their hobby

Activity 2 Divide pupils into three groups.- Each group then selects the jazz chant that they created.(example of jazz chant are given by teacher)

- Each group performs the jazz chant.

Teaching aids:

Lyrics of jazz chant.

-Pupils will be divided into two

groups, group A and group B

-Each group will discuss on the

actions they are going to perform

to another group.

-One pupil from group A comes

out and does the action.

-Pupils from group B have to

guess what his / her hobby is.

-If they get the correct answer the

game will continue with the other

members from the same group.

-Then the game will continue with the members from group B.

Closing

Teacher asks pupils what are the benefits of having hobbies.

Teacher explains to the pupils some of the benefits.
