Principle of Operation
The VR Series are piezoelectric deviceswith a single blade shaped vibrating element.When material comes into contact with theprobe,the vibration is dampened. This change isdetected by the unit’s electronics, activating a relay signal. Conversely, when the materi-al falls away, the probe resumes normalvibration, and the relay switches back.
Sensitivity and buildup
Are tip sensitive, allowing them to overlooksidewall buildup. Not recommended for use in sticky or stringy materials. VR series fea-ture a low sensitivity setting for productsthat leave a light residue on the probe.

ERSmartbob INVENTORY MEASUREMENT SYSTEM
WORKS IN ANY ENVIRONMENT
The remote sensor quickly lowers a weightedBob at 2 ft/sec from the top of the storage
vessel to the surface of the material inside. Asthe Bob desends, a microprocessor in theremote measures the amount of the cable
releaced. When the Bob makes contact withthe material surface, the information is
digitally transmitted, and the Bob instantlyretracts to a neutral position at the top of the
vessel. The retract distance is also measuredfor diagnostic purposes to assure that an
accurate mesurement was taken. The systemcompletely ignores dust, echo, vapors,
temperature fluctuations, steam, or materialdesities. This system is capable of measuring all
your liquid, slurry, or powder and dry bulksolid applications.

System runs manually from a SBC console which can control fromone (1) to thirty (30) SBR/SBRX Remote Sensors. A measurementis initiated with a push of a button, giving accurate inventory read-ings in feet of product, feet to product, and percent full. The lastmeasurement on each remote is stored in non-volatile memory.

Process of operation
The flow detect 1000 is capable of sensing through non-metallic surfaces. A low energy signal is transmitted through a teflon processseal into the material flow stream. Some of this signal is reflectedback to the sensor with a frequency shift resulting from the motionis called the doppler shift and is used by the sensor to determinematerial flow. This state of the art Doppler method of flow detection is far more accurate and dependable than mechanical,triboelectric, or ultrasonic methods. It is virtually unaffected byhumidity, ambient light, pressure, vacuum, temperature, noise,electrical signals, non-metallic build-up, or dust.

The Gen-Eye Pipe Locator uses high tech digital technology to tell you instantly the depth of the pipe downto the inch. With the push of a button, you can locate castiron pipe to a depth of 10 ft. and plastic and clay pipe to 20 ft.

The Gen-Eye Digital Locator lets you know exactly where the problems are. 100 sensitivity levels let you home in onthe transmitter’s signal. The LCD display panel produces aclear digital readout, as well as a graphic display and anaudible tone. It’s faster and more precise than analog locators. The Gen-Eye Locator lets you locate almost anything underground with its built-in three-way signalfinder. You can find the Gen-Eye camera even when it’sdeep inside cast iron pipe. When you turn on the digitallocator, it looks for a 512 hz signal transmitted from theGen-Eye camera.
Switch the locator to 60 hz and you can locate undergroundpower lines before you start digging. Switch again and you can locate gas lines, fiber optic cables, and CATV cableswith the optional 65 khz transmitter.
