I have only heard this exquisite Tibetan Buddhist melody sung a cappella. It is by Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa (1730-1798) and is deeply devotional in intent. The melody itself is to be played very freely and without strong accent. The harmonizationslightly accentuate the melodic design.
