26 x 3⅞" x 3⅞" cut in half diagonally once (blocks 1 & 3)

20 x 3⅞" x 3⅞" cut in half diagonally once (block 1)

Making up the blocks
Block 1 and 3 are made up in the same way.
Block 1 Block 3
Lay out the fabric pieces for each block. Start by sewing the small corner
triangles together to make a square. Now stitch a small triangle to the
larger triangle on the short side and then add the other small triangle to
this.
Lay out all the pieces and sewin rows, then sew your rows together to
complete the block. For block 1 you 5 in total and for block 3 you will
need 8 in total.
Blocks 2 and 3 are made up in the same way.
Stitch the small triangles to the larger triangles. Lay out in rows and then
stitch the rows together to complete the blocks
For block 2 you need 8 in total and for block 4 you need 4 in total.
Block 2 Block 4
Lay out all the blocks as in the main diagram
Part of quilt
Stitch the rows together pressing you seams in the opposite way each
time this will help when sewing each of the rows together.
Sew the side borders to the quilt and then the top and bottom.
Quilting
Sandwich quilt top, wadding and backing together. Quilt by hand or machine as desired. Trim backing and wadding to size.
Binding
Use your favourite method from fabric 12 to bind the quilt.
