1.4 Faults which affect the fuel pump operation are described in accordance with service information.

Range fuel contamination, misalignment of fuel pump and drive train,

sensor faults, incorrect timing, injector leakage, incorrect adjustments.

1.5 Wear patterns on components are described in accordance with service

information.

Range fuel contamination, misalignment, lack of lubrication, corrosion, abrasion, cavitation.

1.6 Pump repair procedures are described in accordance with service information.

Range cleaning, testing, dismantling, overhauling, replacing electronic controls, reassembling.
