How the Programme has been developedWe have been liaising with our partner businesses on the Guaranteed

Interview Scheme (GIS) to develop a qualification that can be used to

demonstrate the requirement for great leadership and problem solving

in todays modern business climate.

What is the structure and curriculum?The programme is structured into 4 units.The full curriculum and modules

are set out in the Programme Outline. The units are designed to run as

short courses which can vary depending on content. They cover all aspects

of management for the practical manager.

ProgrammeOutline

This qualification is designed as practical, interactive workshops that will

develop both knowledge and the skills necessary to manage, assess,

improve and develop productivity and competitiveness. Alongside the

technical management and productivity skills, attendees will develop a

range of personal and communication skills and build the confidence

they need to tackle complex real-world problems and situations.

Learners complete this program with a minimum of 14 credits.

Learners can receive a certificate for each unit successfully completed

if required.

What does the course provideThe Level 4 Certificate in the Management of Budgets and Productivity

qualification will provide the standards that must be achieved by individuals

that are working in a management role.

What is taughtThe management of own resources and professional development, the

development of productive working relationships with colleagues and

liaising and developing professional working relationships with third parties.

The competences required to identify suitable resources, both internal and

external, to support the business improvement plan.
