Dear Colleagues and Friends,It is our great pleasure to announce the multinational congress Leukemia & Lymphoma 2018 that will take place at the Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik Hotel, Dubrovnik, Croatia, scheduled for 3-5 October 2018. We would like to invite you to be a part of this premier event!

This meeting is a joint effort of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA; The School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, Zagreb, Croatia, organized by Jonathan Wood & Associates, an MDedge Company. The theme of the meeting, Europe and the USA Linking Knowledge and Practice, reflects the collaboration to advance the research and treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies globally.

Leukemia & Lymphoma 2018 will host nearly 500 delegates and approximately 50 renowned facultyfrom the USA and Europe. The meeting will provide participants with a unique opportunity for sharing knowledge, skills, and experiences. In addition, this activity will provide a platform for networking with many of the world’s leading experts, focusing on reviewing and assessing best practices and state of the art treatments across the spectrum of hematologic malignancies, including leukemias, lymphoma, myeloma, MDS, MPNs, and transplant.

The meeting program will include presentations, round-table discussions, debates with audience participation, oral abstracts, poster sessions, and a number of informal social gatherings. As the Chairs of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2018, it is our pleasure to invite you to participate in this one-of-a-kind event. BENEFITS OF INDEPENDENT SATELLITE SYMPOSIAIndependent Satellite Symposia (ISS) are one of the most popular contributor options at Leukemia & Lymphoma 2018 for a number of reasons. A satellite symposium provides:• A high level of visibility and the opportunity to highlight your organization’s position as a leader in the

hematology/oncology field.• A highly respected forum for representing important innovations and cutting-edge research.• A ‘ready-made’ audience of the leading physicians and researchers actively practicing in the research and

treatment of patients diagnosed with hematologic malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, MDS, MPNs and transplant.

• Increased recognition and goodwill among thought leaders in the hematology/oncology field.• An exclusive time slot, an overview of the symposium in the Meeting Program, the option to insert an

invitation in to the official conference bag, and prominent contributor signage outside of the symposium area.

INDEPENDENT SATELLITE SYMPOSIA GUIDELINESIndependent Satellite Symposia (ISS) are typically IME events that are held in conjunction with Leukemia & Lymphoma 2018. Satellite Symposia require written approval, acquired through the application process, from the Leukemia & Lymphoma 2018 congress committee. An ISS may be supported by a company or a not-for-profit organization. Satellites are expected to adhere to ACCME and EACCME principles and guidelines, the information presented in the ISS must be balanced and provide attendees with objective educational material. All aspects of an approved satellite symposia, including CME accreditation, are the responsibility of the Satellite organizer. As ISS are independent events, invitational and symposium materials created for the ISS must not imply the endorsement or support of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2018.Again, it is important to note that the content of an ISS is independent from the main conference and, therefore, is not sponsored by the EACCME/Global Academy for Medical Education, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center or the University of Zagreb School of Medicine.Proposals must be for live programs only; no satellite or simultaneous broadcasts or otherwise non-live programming will be considered. Any intent to capture the content of the satellite symposium for subsequent distribution must be made known in the submitted application. Incomplete proposals will not be considered for review.To apply for an ISS complete the ancillary event request form and return it to Leukemia & Lymphoma 2018, along with the application fee. Organizers may indicate their preferred time slot during the application process; final decisions will be based on a first come first served basis as well as the quality and content of the proposed program. Applicants will be notified following the August 1, 2018 submission deadline regarding approval of the ISS. Eligible ExhibitorsExhibits will be limited to companies approved by the Leukemia & Lymphoma 2018 planning committee. Only the sign of the company whose name appears on the face of the Exhibit Agreement may be placed in the booth or appear on any printed list of Exhibitors. No exhibits or advertising will be allowed beyond the perimeters of the booth. Leukemia & Lymphoma 2018 retains the sole and exclusive right to determine which organizations may exhibit at the conference. It is the responsibility of the exhibiting company to comply with applicable rules and regulations such as those provided European or individual country regulatory agencies. Exhibit Space CostsThe cost of one standard exhibit space is €5,000, which includes a 3 x 3 m draped booth, one draped table, two side chairs, one waste basket and an identification sign. Two conference badges are provided with each 3 x 3 m space. Additional benefits are provided based on the level of support.In addition to the standard exhibit space, a limited number of premium spaces such as corner booths, exhibit islands, semi-islands, and exhibits located near exhibit floor at tractions are priced accordingly. A floor plan depicting the location and configuration of booth space is included with the Exhibitor Application Form.
