The program was well received by those who attended, and feedback indicated that your first-hand experience with the reasonable accommodation process was insightful. Attendees commented that it was helpful to hear both the substantive legal content and the personal perspectives of the panelists. The overall evaluation feedback for the CLE was very positive, and the program received an overall ranking of 3.7 out of a possible 4. It is clear that the committee's efforts putting the hypothetical problems and discussion questions together paid off. We all manage significant workloads and competing priorities, which can make it challenging to find time to participate in other activities. Dear Colette:

Thank you for co-chairing the committee for the Diversity and Inclusion Program and CLE. As you know, Diversity and Inclusion are topics of great importance to our office and this inaugural program that you assisted in creating got us off on the right track! I'm thankful that you have agreed to stay on for planning the next training.

Co-chairing a committee of this size, in addition to your regular workload and responsibilities, was no small feat. You created the committee's ACE site, maintained and updated the agenda, kept track of the planning along the way, and helped to ensure this program was engaging. Your organization and support truly made this event a success!

It takes a tremendous amount of time and effort to plan such an insightful program. As a co-chair of the planning committee, you made this a worthwhile CLE for your colleagues.

Thank you again for a job well done and for your commitment to diversity!

Sincerely,

We are all very happy for you! I hope it is a proud and exciting moment when you walk in your commencement ceremony in June.

Colette M. Benefiel Paralegal 2 Office of the Attorney General Tacoma Division PO Box 2317 Tacoma, WA 98401

Dear Colette:

Congratulations on an outstanding year! You have been selected to receive one of a limited number of AGO Excellence Awards.

In order to receive one of these awards under the approved performance management program, an employee is required to sustain high performance, demonstrate all competencies, perform all job duties, and complete all and exceed some key results expected in the PDP. This must be done in a manner that demonstrates remarkably high quality, adds extraordinary value to the AGO, has a continually positive effect in the work group, and exhibits the highest ethics, among other criteria.

In particular, you have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to furthering the office's goal to increase awareness of the value of a diverse workforce and importance of inclusiveness. You did an outstanding job serving as the Chair of the Tacoma Diversity Committee. The programs and speakers you arranged were highly educational and increased the awareness of the importance of living and working in a diverse community. The Diversity ACE site you developed is serving as a model for others. I want to thank you on behalf of the citizens of the state for your leadership and passion for enhancing awareness of the importance of diversity.

Congratulations on a job well done!
