I am Steve Santos and currently a Manager for Olive Garden in Beaverton Oregon. I have worked in the restaurant business for 36 years and for Olive Garden for 19 years now. I would like to take a moment to introduce Bill Anderson to you.
I first met Bill 17 years ago when he came to the Fremont Olive Garden as a Culinary Manager. It wasn’t long after that it became apparent that he was the GO TO Manager. If he gave his word, he kept it, if he promised you something, he made it happen. He ran one of the most efficient kitchens I have had the pleasure to work with.When he became a General Manager, he made it one of the best places to work for all. His fair and consistent demeanor, friendly and easy going way made him one of the most respected Managers there.He inspires the team members to be great by taking the time to coach and mentor in a fair and consistent way while holding the standards and accountabilities.
