I’m writing to you to certify that Ryan Smyth worked as an Acquisitions Analyst for Lock 7 Development

under my supervision for approximately 15 months.

I can assure you that during Mr. Smyth’s time at Lock 7 he was a competent worker who took care of the

daily tasks I set before him. He was instrumental in helping the company get its necessary permits for

our numerous development projects and expediting the entitlement process. He spent many days down

at the DCRA helping move our projects through the entitlement process and assuring that our

development projects stayed on schedule. He also helped us analyze potential investment deals in

determining the profitability of the deal.

He was a dependable employee during his time at Lock 7. He showed up to work on time and ensured

that all the tasks that I assigned to him were completed in a timely manner. In the end, I felt that he

needed more of a challenge and a position with more responsibility.

Mr. Smyth would be a welcome addition to any firm’s development team, and I give him my full
