Step#1Developrelationships.Christiansmustbeintentionalaboutdevelopingrelationshipswiththeirneighbors.Howoftenattheendofatiresomedayoronabusyweekenddowesimplywanttoavoidpeople?Wereasonthatwe’retootiredand/ortoobusy.Butdevelopingrelationshipsisallabouteternity!Wehaveaneternallyimportanttaskonearthwe’vebeencalledtoo.Wesimplymustmakedevelopingrelationshipsapriority.Thisbeginswithintentionallysayinghelloandintroducingyourselftosomeoneyoumaynotknow,takingoverabatchofbrownies,stoppingtotalkwhileonawalk,orlingeringtotalkalittlelongerintheschoolparkinglotafteraschoolevent.Italsomeansintentionallylookingtocutthingsoutofourbusyschedulestomaketimeforothers.Thekeywordhereisintentionally.Step#2Loveyourneighbors.InMatthew22:36,Jesusisaskedwhatisthegreatestcommandmentinthelaw.Heanswers,“’LovetheLordyourGodwithallyourheartandwithallyoursoulandwithallyourmind.’Thisisthefirstandgreatestcommandment.Andthesecondislikeit:‘Loveyourneighborasyourself’.AlltheLawandtheProphetshangonthesetwocommandments.”ObviouslylovingourneighborsisveryimportanttoJesus!Butwhoareourneighbors?Itcanbethepeoplethatborderyourpropertylineorshareyourapartmenthallway,thekidsonyourchild’steamortheirparents.Itcanbethoseyourelaxwithwhileenjoyingahobby,justtonameafew.BuildingafriendshipisaprecursortoearningthetrustthroughwhichwecanshareChrist.We’re
