DESCRIPTION

Dr. Renée Casbergue Do iPads offer benefits to young children's language and literacy development? Are there drawbacks to digital drawing and writing? This talk will focus on preschool children's potential to create their own e-books to read and share in their classrooms. The abilities of children ages 3 and 4 to use e-book tools will be addressed, along with suggestions for the kinds of apps that will lead children toward digital writing.
