Dearest Darling Friends,

Here are some misconceptions about life that you should

know about.

Going to even the ‘best’ college does not guarantee you a job

you will be happy with. You will have two options. Both

requires hard work. One, build your career. Second, follow

your passion. The second option requires ‘more’ hard work

and not less.

Head hunters and job sites will always provide you an

‘average’ job. If you can figure out the most pressing

challenges that your industry or your desired employers face,

if you can figure out a way to solve them, you will be in

demand. They will chase you. Isn’t that what you want?

Working for the best company will never take care of your

future. Networking with people with passion and shared values, developing your problem solving skills, working

with the most demanding of bosses, will take care of your future.

By having fat salaries or profits, does not mean you sleep happy or wake up happy. Reaching out to others,

using your talents and lifting others, improving life of others will help you to be happy. having gratitude in your

heart will make you happy.

You do not need anyone (aka soulmate) for you to feel complete. You already are complete.

Gifts do not prove your worth.

You do not have to prove to ANYONE that you are a good person.

Gods do not respond to gifts you give at their alter. Nor do they respond to your requests for favours. They

respond to your actions and to how you use your potentials.

Whole foods are not whole.

Brown bread is not healthier.

Diamonds are NOT a girl’s best friend. Neither are they forever.

Dogs are NOT a man’s best friend either.

Traffic signals are NOT to slow you down. Neither are they there for ‘idiots’ to follow and for smart people to

break. Believe it or not, they are there for your safety.

Doing pooja to Lakshmi, will NOT bring in prosperity. I believe Bill Gates has never done Lakshmi pooja. I rest

my case.

Just because someone is rich, it does not make them ‘better’ people. Respecting others makes you a good

person.

Besides these, would you like to point out a few other misconceptions that we carry?

Have loads of fun!

With loads of love, prayers and exceptional wishes,

Narendra Goidani
