C = CHASING

Say What????????????

Now how are we going to do that? Get a piece of paper and write down

ways that you are/can Chase God and how you can change to submit to his will and meet him halfway?

What can you do different to change?

YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO SHARE THIS WITH THE CLASS!!!!!!!!!

R = Repent!!

Repent your sin to Him!!

Did you know that when Jesus went to Heaven he gave us a direct path to confess our sins to the Lord!!! Can you imagine what life would be like if we still had to abide by Old Testament Law?

He told us to repent and be forgiven through prayer!! Prayer is your path to forgiveness then there is one more thing you must do……

DON’T DO IT AGAIN

SILLY!!!

U = Understand Once you move away from the things

that drag you down and repent for screwing up, then you can begin to understand what God truly has for you.

Once you understand that God planned for you to be blessed while fulfilling his purpose, you can start to live the kind of life worth getting excited about.

Understanding God does not mean Understanding every word

of the Bible.

Biblical Understanding Spiritual Understanding

Know God’s word to provide hope when things get you down…

And direction when life’s got you running around like a headless chicken.

But also having a spiritual understanding of who God is to you…

And enjoying a personal relationship with God through Prayer is equally as important.

N = Need Part of having a personal one-on-one with

God is accepting the fact that you need Him to help you all the time, everyday, in every situation: good or bad embarrassing or exciting.

God wants to be there for you in everything.

Sure it’s easy to need God and beg for help when things are tough, but we also need to rely on him when it “seems” like things are going our way.

K = Keep This is simple: KEEP LIVING FOR GOD.

Use the strength you found when you learned to understand and need God (through prayer) to stay dedicated to Him.

Sure it’s easy to get sidetracked, distracted, enticed, or whatever you want to call it… but in the end… you either lived your life for God or you gave into Satan’s lies. You have to stay strong and KEEP LIVING FOR GOD – no matter what!
