The following lesson plans are designed to complement the learning points found in each episode of Sharity & Friends. The lessons come in three segments to best suit the class size and available time. Within each lesson, teachers will find the type of activity,

materials needed and instructions for the activity.

Teachers are encouraged to carry out the full lesson plan. However, should time be a constraint, teachers can select a segment and make adjustments to fit the lesson to their needs. In this case, it is recommended to pair segments 1 and 2, or segments 1 and 3.

STEP 1Download the

Gratitude Tree paper cut-out and Sharing

Heart printables

STEP 2Cut along the

dotted line for all the printables.

STEP 3Join the 3

parts of the Gratitude

Tree together with

adhesive tape.

STEP 4Place the Sharing Heart printables

together with pens and markers near the Gratitude Tree

STEP 5Student to write down their act of caring and

sharing onto the Sharing Heart and stick them

onto the Gratitude Tree.

STEP 6Progressively, every

other day, the teacher can pick a few students

to share their acts of caring and sharing, or

share their gratitude for receiving help from

someone.
