When creating the lesson plan it is usual
to look at the following:The aims. The objectives. The number of attendees and the student-
teacher ratio. The previous knowledge of the learners and how
this will be activated at the start of the lesson. The motivation of the learners. The time required for each section of teaching
and learning. The resources required and available.Catering for the different needs of the
individuals. How the lesson is to be evaluated.

Setting of Objectives Focus on what your students will do to acquire further
knowledge and skills.
Create an objective, a statement of purpose for the whole lesson.
Each objective must begin with a verb that states the action to be taken to show accomplishment.
Questions to ask include: What will students be able to do during this lesson? Under what conditions will students' performance be
accomplished? How will you judge if the objectives have been met? How will students demonstrate that they have learned
and understood the objectives of the lesson?

Selecting lesson plan material What materials, resources and technology
will be needed for the lesson? List all materials (e.g. textbook, other
books, maps, crayons, calculators, research data guides) technology resources (computers, printer, scanner, Internet connection, digital cameras, etc) and web addresses that are needed for this lesson. If you are using copyrighted materials, you must include title, author, date, city and publisher.
