    1) Fill in 10 blanks with correct words.

    2) Fill in each blank with correct letters.3) Write 8 simple descriptions about 8 different

    animals.

    4) Read aloud the 2 descriptions with correct

    pronunciation.

    5) Listen to the video song played and answer 4

    questions orally.

    Step 2

    Practice: 15 minutes1. Teacher divides pupils into 5 groups.

    2. Each group consists of 5 pupils.

    3. Teacher gives clear instruction on how

    to carry out the activities.

    4. Each group needs to cut the

    sentences and match them correctly.

    They also have to paste the sentences

    on the manila card.

    5. Each group will be provided a manila

    card, scissors and glue.

    6. They will be given 8 minutes to

    complete this task.

    Group work:Cut and match

    Rewrite the correct

    sentences/descriptions in their

    exercise book.

    Step 3

    Production: 15 minutes (class

    presentation)

    1. Teacher distributes a worksheet to

    each of the pupils.

    2. The pupils have to fill in the blanks

    with correct words and for the second

    task they have to match the

    descriptions to the correct animals.

    3. Teacher will guide them while they are

    completing the tasks.

    Extended Activity: 5 minutes

    1. Teacher shows some samples of

    bookmarks to the pupils.

    This is a giraffe. It has a very long neck

    and tongue.

    It has long legs, too. Giraffes do not eat

    meat. Giraffes eat plant leaves. Their long

    neck and very long tongue is useful in

    picking the best leaves of very tall trees.
