T asks students to say which word does not belong to the group. T explains that something we do every day is called a routine, and says that today's lesson is about routines

Activity I: Routines (15 minutes)T elicits students to say other things that they do every day. Then the T shows some flashcards about daily routines

Activity II: Vocabulary (05 minutes)T will use a Hand out and will go through the words on the list. She will explain the new words to students and if it is necessary T pantomimes the actions or shows pictures to convey the meanings, after that T will ask sts whether they do these actions in the morning, afternoon or evening; or whether they do them every day, twice a week, sometimes, and so on.

Activity III : Grammar: The Simple Present (20 minutes)T will write on the board "What do you do in the morning?"and T will use another handout where they have to check yes or no. Then T has them tell the class "In the morning I ..." using the first person of the verb.

T writes on the board: "I feed the cat. He feeds the cat. T will elicit from students the difference between the two sentences and she will explain how the third person is formed. Now T elicits third person for all verbs on the flashcards and asks sts to write some of them on the board, and also practice pronunciation.

In pairs have students trade papers, and tell the class what's true about their partners: "Sally takes a shower in the morning. She eats breakfast...".

Activity IV: Grammar: The Negative (20 minutes) T will write on the board: "I live in Australia.". This will cause a reaction on the sts because they know that’s no true so, then T corrects the sentence writing "I don't live in Australia." T continues doing some similar examples in order sts understand the negative form in simple present, using third person too.

T will give sts another Hand out where the students should mark sentences T or F. They should put F sentences into negative and write a new, true sentence.

Activity V: Reading: A Family Routine (20 minutes)Sts will do a reading so, T will pre-teach words which may be tricky on the reading and have students read and answer the true false questions. T will do a feedback, trying to elicit correct answers from students. For example, "Levi doesn't go shopping in the afternoon. He goes shopping in the morning."

Activity VI: Writing (20 minutes)T will write the words "A Very Bad Day" on the board, and she will start a first line of the essay writing on the board: "Dan wakes up late." Sts have to continue with the essay teacher will go around the class to help them with vocabulary and with the correct form of the verbs. T will suggest things like "the alarm clock doesn't work, he gets cold water in the shower, he spills his cup of coffee, he cannot find his keys, he misses the bus," and so on, in order to do a good writing.

Levi Vaoga weighs 375 pounds and is the strongest man in New Zealand. But you can call him "Mr. Mom." Levi doesn't work. His wife Diane works in an office, so he stays at home and takes care of his four-year-old daughter.

Levi has the same routine almost every day. In the morning he makes breakfast, irons clothes and goes to the store. At lunchtime he goes to the gym and does his exercise. Then he picks up his daughter at school, and spends the afternoon with her. Sometimes they walk in the park, and sometimes they play ball or watch TV. In the evening he cooks dinner for the family. His wife comes home at 6:00, and they usually eat dinner at 6:30. Then they spend the evening together as a family.

His wife, Diane, has a very different routine. She wakes up at 6:30 and drives one hour to work. She arrives at work at 8:30. She has thirty minutes for lunch, and finishes at 5:00. She likes her job, and is happy in the office. She says she doesn't want to change her situation, and Levi agrees. They are both content with their routines.
