- Activity 1: + Tell SS that progamme has chosen two couples, and now they are going to phone them. Get SS to cover the dialogue.+ Tell the whole class to listen to find out as much as they can about Lisa and John's holiday plan.+Play the CD once.+ Check SS' understanding by asking some commprehension questions:Where are they going to?How are they going to?Where are they going to stay?What are they going to do?

- Activity 2:+ Focus on the dialogue. Give SS two minutes to read it through.+ Ask SS to guess what kind of words are missing.+ Play the CD once (pause after each gap to give SS time to write) for SS to fill in the missing words. + Check answers+ Explain some words that are new to SS.See the sights = visit the famous tourist place
