Bad Example
• Rule: It is unlawful for people with bad haircuts to appear in public.
• Rule Explanation: Bad haircuts are those which are uneven, unusual or of unnatural color. Public places are those areas that are readily accessible by the public.

Good Example• Rule: It is unlawful for people with bad haircuts to
appear in public. Bad haircuts are those which are uneven, unusual or of unnatural color. Public places are those areas that are readily accessible by the public.
• Rule Explanation: In the case of New York v. Pandell, 123 NY.2d, 456 (2005), the Court ruled that an exceptionally short haircut on an unsightly head did not constitute a bad haircut as defined in the New York Penal Code. However, in New York v. Myners, 234 NY.2d 789 (2005), the Court extended the concept of haircuts to apply to the appearance of all types of facial hair.
