Lesson Objectives:By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
1) perform the action song in their own creative way.
Educational Emphasis:
I. Multiple intelligences: Incorporation of visual and kinesthetic intelligences to promote active participation among pupils in the lesson.
Teaching aids: mask, scissors, glue, color papers .
Previous knowledge: Pupils have been exposed to farm animals.
Anticipated problems:a) Pupils may not be able to complete the task due to the time constraint
Possible solution:a) set the extra task as their homework.
b) Carry out buddy system in which all the group monitors are responsible in helping their friends in completing the given task.

Teacher pastes 10 animal masks on the board.
Reads out the riddles on the animals.

Teacher sings the action song with appropriate actions, mask, and rhythm. (Sample of three animals.)
Pupils mimic the action songs while singing the song.

Divide pupils into groups.
Pupils are required to retain the established old Macdonald tune and include other animals in their song.
Pupils need to generate ideas and prepare appropriate mask based on their action song
Production
(20 minutes)
Pupils are given a task sheet with blank boxes.
Draw or paste the pictures according to the required animals.
Pupils are required to to find the missing animals n the farm.
