PRAVEEN KUMAR- IAS OFFICER CLEANS THE SCHOOL TOILET-- FARIDABADOn Thursday afternoon, a rare sight met the eyes of students of
Government Girls' Secondary School a senior IAS officer cleaning theirschool's toilet. Faridabad Deputy Commissioner Praveen Kumar, a seniorIAS officer, literally cleaned the toilet of the school situated in Old Faridabad.The deputy commissioner had conducted the inspection of the city's oldestschool in the morning. Over 3,000 students study in the school.
At the school, some of the students told him that the school had just onesweeper to clean the toilets. He also came to know that "a few students hadfallen unconscious on Wednesday due to the scorching heat". The officerpromised the schoolchildren that he will be back around 1.30pm. He kept hisword and came to the school. He also advised the students that they shouldchange their mindsets and focus on doing things themselves.

Three Things that will make You a Brilliant Student
You must realize that God has gifted you with a mind, you must use and develop. AlbertEinstein was a lifelong learner. If you learn to be a lifelong learner you will go far in life. Themoment you stop learning is the day you begin a downward descent in life. Below are threequalities that will make you a great learner:
1. Learn how to ask questions. Science is simply the art of asking lots of questionsand searching for the answer. What questions are you asking? When you are around
people who know more than you do, ask them a lot of questions. The trick will be tolisten to them.
2. Develop a teachable spirit. Someone once said, Its what you learn after you knowit all that counts. Some people limit their potential because they have an un-teachable spirit. There isnt anyone who knows everything except God. That meanstheres more for you to learn.
3. Have a passion for something. Great learners are passionate to grow. One time astudent of philosophy asked his teacher how he could become a man of greatwisdom. The teacher said, Follow me and I will show you. The teacher waded intothe ocean and the student followed him. The wise teacher then held his young pupilunder water until the student began to kick and fight his way to the surface. The
student, gasping for air, asked, What did you do that for? The wise teacher replied,When you want wisdom as much as you wanted air, you will find it.
Make a habit of never going to sleep without having learned something new that day.
