When a soccer coach tells you, “To win a game, you’ve got to give 110%.” What did the coach mean?
How do you know when a percent is greater than 100% or less than 1%?
In a fraction, when the numerator is bigger than the denominator the percent is greater than 100%.
In a fraction, when the numerator is smaller than the denominator the percent is between 1% and 100%.
When you are not sure, rewrite the fractions or decimals as percents, if the percent is a decimal the percent is less than 1%.
