Preparation aYr 0n each sheet of butcher paper,make lines every 12 inches (30.5 cm) as if making agrowth chart. Print the words of 1 Timothy 4:12 at thetop of each paper. Attach papers to wall low enoughto use in measuring children's heights.

Ieam Eame ayr Choose 8 to 12 children to standin front of group in a circle. Give a stuffed animal ortheme park souvenir to one child. At your signal orwhile you play music from Theme Music CD, childrenpass stuffed animal or theme park souvenir aroundthe circle as fast as they can but using only theire |bows,shou|ders 'kneesor fee t . ( | fp |ay ing th isgame with younger children, have them pass itemsbetween their legs.) 0ccasionally, stop the music.Child holding the animal or souvenir, says 1 Timothy4:12 aloud. (For more challenge and fun, use additionalstuffed animals or theme park souvenirs in the game.)

BIbIe Verse Eame {k Divide group into two teams. (lf you have a large group, choose six to eight volunteers fromeach team to play the game.) Players line up across the room from the wall where the papers you prepared are displayeo.One person from each team stands by the team's paper, holding a marker. Read 1 Timothy 4'.12 aloud with children. As youare growing taller, you are also growing in learning how to show love and obedience to God. [et's play a measuring game.

At your signal, the first player on each team runs to his or her team's paper and stands with back facing the paper. Team-mate draws a small line on the paper near the top of player's head to show his or her height. (0ptional: Player writes ini-tials by the line.) Player runs back to the team and tags the next person in line. Play continues until each person has hadhis or her height marked on the paper. Team runs to their paper and reads verse aloud in unison.

Prayer >lK What is something a kid your age can say or do to show love and obedience to God? Volunteers answer, orinvite children to form pairs and tell their answers to their partners. Then lead children in prayer, asking God's help in beinggood examples.
