Lesson 2-Power Point Animation
> To be able to create a PowerPoint animation
> To be able to assess myself against the animation rubric level categories and see what need to be done in order to achieve a higher level
Objectives
• Continue with your ball rolling template which you have started in the previous lesson.
• You have to get the ball rolling from one side of the screen to the other by inserting new slides and making small changes to each one.
• How many slides do think you will need?
Starter
• Once you have mastered this, you can start adding other images to the template. Maybe an aeroplane or clouds moving across the sky.
• REMEMBER you need to try and tell a story using the images as you create your animation.
Why is this important?
Main Activity
•Which level are you currently at and why?
•What improvements need to be achieved to move on to a higher level.
Use the Rubric assessment sheet from the website to assess what level you are at.
YOU ARE NOW GOING TO ASSESS YOURSELF AGAINST THE RUBRIC ASSESSMENT
• Take a ‘post it note’ (or simply use a sheet of paper) to write down which level you think you are working at. Make sure you assess yourself appropriately using the rubric.
• ‘How are you going to move up a level; what must you do?’
• Stick this note on the side of your monitor; this is now going to be your motivational tool which will remind you of the points you have to cover to achieve the desired level.
Main Activity
Look at your peers animation.• Suggest to them two things which are
good.• Suggest to them two things that they need
to improve on.
